| This is when the mission is at its most critical- the link between the cockpit and the ship itself was an almost-complete unknown. Although the Dark Futurons had studied a connection harness from a wrecked Allied Avenger, the damage to that unit was very extensive. The makeshift linkage software is only able to access the engine systems and is largely created on the spot by the Blackthief's advanced AI unit. The operative can only wait precious minutes while this sizeable processing task works away. | |
